U12 Boys Presentation Day

U12 Boys Presentation Day

Jacqui Teasdale14 May - 16:16

A Season of Growth, Courage and Togetherness!

There was a proud and positive atmosphere at Bishop Auckland RUFC as our Under 12 boys came together for their end-of-season presentation.

Presentation Day is always a valuable chance to celebrate the players, reflect on the season, and recognise the progress that has been made. And this group has given us plenty to be proud of.

This season has been about much more than results. It has been about growth in teamwork, communication, resilience, support for one another, and a stronger understanding of what it means to be part of a team.

What has stood out most is the way the boys have kept learning, kept responding, and kept moving forward together. They are growing not just as players, but as teammates and young lads, and they are becoming a group built on effort, support and willingness to learn.

That gives them a strong platform going into next season, and it also makes this a very good environment for new players to come into. Boys joining this group will be welcomed, encouraged, and given the chance to enjoy their rugby, work hard, and develop as part of a positive team.

Presentation Day also gave us the chance to recognise some individual achievements across the squad.

Best Newcomer – Jacob Brannan
For joining the group with a brilliant attitude, a willingness to learn, and a real commitment to getting stuck in.

Most Improved – Thomas Evans
For the clear growth he has shown this season in attitude, consistency, effort and the way he has thrown himself into being part of the team.

Coaches’ Player – Leon-James Canovan
For consistently showing the standards, effort, quality and presence that coaches value so highly.

Players’ Player – Heath Holt
A special award because it comes from the boys themselves, reflecting the trust, respect and value his teammates place in him.

A huge thank you goes to all of the parents, families, coaches, helpers and everyone behind the scenes who continue to support the boys throughout the season. The time, patience, encouragement and practical help all make a huge difference.

Most of all, well done to the boys. They should be proud of what they have achieved this season. They have grown in confidence, understanding and togetherness, and they now have a strong base to build from for the year ahead.

Any boys looking to join a positive, hardworking and supportive U12 group next season will be made very welcome at Bishop Auckland RUFC.
