Today, our four Bishop U14 girls joined forces with Blaydon to take on Consett — and what a game!
We turned up thinking we were playing with Consett then asked to help Blaydon out.
Girls just smiled and were happy to play rugby it didn’t phase them at all.
The girls made a huge difference today we affected a lot of the play defensively and attacking.
The girls showed brilliant teamwork, determination, and brought smiles all around. Their positive attitude and hard work really shone through on the pitch.
Player of the Match: Sophie (for the second week running)
Team Highlights:
Mia – Back from injury today — fantastic to have her back on the field getting stuck in.
Lilian – Bagged 2 tries with some powerful runs.
Millie – Got stuck in and made her presence felt throughout the game.
Sophie – Scored her first try — and it was well deserved, her confidence is growing by the minute.
A fantastic effort from everyone again — very proud of these girls clustering with different teams and just getting on with it. More friendships made too!
