What a fantastic first home game the under 8’s had! It was great to see such a good turn out despite the wind.

We matched Horden and Peterlee on numbers this time which meant all the players got chance to get stuck in for the full match. They showed enthusiasm, stamina and ever growing skills throughout. Their defensive lines were impressive showing off all their hard work in training.

Some great try scoring came from William and Max and the whole team came off the pitch smiling.

A big well done to Georgie who has recently joined the team. He excelled in not only speed but his confidence getting tags and running for tries was great to see. He definitely deserved player of the match!
