It was a really tough game from start to finish against a strong
Guisborough/Scarborough/Middlesbrough side. They had some powerful players, but our girls never let their heads drop and kept battling right to the final whistle.

There was some really positive play throughout the game — strong tackling, hard running and great determination — even though the final score doesn’t truly reflect the effort and commitment shown by the team.

After picking up a few injuries, we unfortunately went down to 13 players, but the girls continued to work hard for each other and showed fantastic resilience.

Special mentions:

• Brodie for getting really stuck in and working hard all game.

• Molly for stepping up and playing in a new position on the wing (proud of you)

• Amelia for, as always, playing her heart out.

• Sophie for a really solid performance.

• Mia for her strong play up front.

• Lilian for her effort and defensive work at the back.
