The cup game kicked off around 2pm on a cold Consett ground, and although it was a bit of a mismatched game that ended in an away win, our Bishop girls gave their all.

We took six Bishop girls, and they were fantastic from start to finish — full of effort, teamwork, and smiles!

At half-time, we even had a little mix-up when Amelia and Lillian switched sides showing great sportsmanship and team spirit.

Player Highlights:
•Mia ~came on as a sub midway through the first half and continues to improve every week. She was strong in the scrum and created some brilliant play.
•Sophie ~only a few weeks ago she was nervous, but now she takes the ball and runs hard, often dragging a few defenders with her!
•Millie ~is still finding her favourite position but looked right at home on the wing, making fantastic runs and some brilliant tackles.
•Lillian~our vice-captain today, truly earned the role. You just can’t stop her — she tackles players twice her size and never stops running!
•Amelia~ had another outstanding game, scoring yet another try and making some excellent runs. She’s improving every single week.
•Molly ~was Bishop’s Player of the Match. She was strong, determined, and played with a huge smile throughout. Absolutely superb!

We can’t say enough how proud we are of this team. They give their all every week and always come off the pitch smiling.
