On Sunday the 25th January 2026 Bishop Auckland U10’s rugby team took to the field at Westoe., Despite the very muddy ground both teams played their very best over four fifteen minute halves. Bishop Auckland put their training to the test and showcased some exceptional Rugby, Drive and Determination. We couldn’t have asked for more from the team!

Two players were awarded Player of the Match. Theo was picked by Bishop Auckland for his strong pace, great ability to read the game and push on even after a hard tackle.
Dakota was picked by the Westoe team as she is a strong and fast paced player, showing exceptional ability and skill.
Both players stepped in to cover where needed.

Overall a fantastic team effort. Well done everyone.
