Bishop Auckland Under 10’s faced off against Peterlee & Horden in an exciting and hard-fought encounter that showcased great teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship from both sides.

From the first whistle, Bishop Auckland came out full of energy, working hard in defence and showing excellent passing and support play. The team’s tackling was strong, and some brilliant attacking runs kept the pressure on the opposition. Peterlee & Horden put up a strong fight throughout, but Bishop’s teamwork and communication really shone through.

There were some standout performances across the pitch, with every player contributing to a great team effort. Hope’s tireless work rate and fearless tackling earned her the Opposition’s Player of the Match award — a well-deserved recognition of her commitment and skill. Ethan impressed the coaches with his focus, strong carries, and smart decision-making, earning him the Coaches’ Player of the Match.

Overall, it was a fantastic display of rugby from both teams — full of effort, teamwork, and fun. Bishop Auckland can be proud of their continued progress and the spirit they showed throughout the game.
