The mighty Bishop Auckland U9’s headed to Middlesbrough for their County Festival. Facing good teams from Horden & Peterlee, Guisborough, Barnard Castle, West Hartlepool, Houghton, and the hosts from Middlesbrough.

Played in a fantastic spirit our teams demonstrated some outstanding teamwork, passing, tackling, and performed exceptionally well against some good teams. The defensive effort was very committed often forcing back our opponents through the pressure of our defensive pressure.

In attack, we worked tirelessly to recycle the ball and pass to put our dangerous runners into try scoring positions. Some fantastic individual and team tries were scored during a brilliant morning of U9 Rugby where the players admirably represented Bishop Auckland RUFC.
