Of the four games scheduled for Bishop Auckland, only three were played due to a missing team.

Having been drawn against West Hartlepool B first, Bishop started as they meant to go on following last weeks defensive training and prevented West Hartlepool from getting through initially until a jinking run from one of their players burst through the line. A stalwart effort from our own Finley ensured that West Hartlepool didn't manage to break through again.

Second on the cards for Bishop, was our opponents for next week, Hartlepool A, and keen to gain a mental advantage over them leading into our upcoming away game, the team put on a relentless display of attack and defence.

Due to the aforementioned missing team, Bishop took the opportunity to have a mini training match in place of their third game to ensure maximum focus. Bishop's eagerness to get on and make the most of their minutes culminated in Thor volunteering to be loaned to West Hartlepool A for the last game and him showing them why he is a valued member of our team. Even though he is a Bishop boy through and through, he made sure to test his own team mates by switching the play to the other wing and did not hold back when grabbing those tags.

Players of the day: Dakota for her team work and commitment.
Thor for his sportsmanship when offering to play for the opposition.
