I hope you have all dried out after Sundays game….thank you for your patience with the pitches, there was a lot of standing water, so thank you for everyone's help.

Given the massive task that was down to the challenging conditions, our little ones made it a good contest with a great effort, especially with Consett having an extra man! Nobody was standing about, and you were all making quick decisions to keep the game moving and to keep yourselves warm. The pressure you all applied got you a good stance with a few turn overs and those all-important extra tries. The urgency of quick ball had you running rings around them at points!

It was a hard day for taking tags when everything is wet and muddy. But that said, you managed to keep your heads up and keep going.

With massive efforts from Bobo and Coby, who achieved this week's players of the week.

This weekend we have training…..hopefully the rain stops, and we can have a dry one.
